So…
WE BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON!!!!
Kristina and I are going to spend a week (that’s right, A WEEK!) together in beautiful St. Lucia of the West Indies immediately following our wedding.
So, what does this mean for everyone attending our wedding? Once we leave the reception it’s sayonara and good day! We hate to not have brunch with everyone the day following, but we’re ready to go soak up the sun and get our married life on!
Whoop whoop we’re so pumped!!!!!

Whoo hoo wedding planning!!
Who said you need to be engaged for 1 - 2 years to be able to plan a wedding? I don’t know what “they” are thinking because some how we’ve nailed down the most important details in a little over a month!
We’ve taken care of the following things!
And we’re in the process of collecting addresses to send out those save the dates! Meanwhile, I must set aside all boasting and humbly thank Kristina’s parents for all of their help. It can be hard planning a wedding. It can be especially tough when you’re 600 miles from the location. Without Kristina’s parents doing all of this work we wouldn’t be in the same position we are this quick! So… from the bottom of my heart:
Thank you so so so much Mr. and Mrs. Fulton. I can’t wait have you as my in-laws!!
That being said: whoo hoo wedding planning!!! Overwhelming? Yes. Fun? Heck YES!
Until next time. Kevin Out.
P.S. Have I told you how much I love Kristina Lynn Fulton?! And did I mention she said YES?!
Well…I don’t even know where to start. It’s been a whirlwind couple of days down here in the South. I quit my job on Friday and drove to South Carolina on Sunday morning after moving into a new apartment in D.C. These past 2 days, we’ve nailed down a caterer, the rehearsal dinner, a cake, a florist, the guest list, and possibly the bridesmaid dresses. I also got to see the venue we’re going to get married in for the first time! It’s super cool. You should be excited.
And, if you’re friends with Kevin or me on Facebook, you’ve seen our recent engagement pictures too!! Katie Lingan did an amazing job!
I feel like I’m punching wedding planning in the face right now. I am super stoked to be marrying this guy behind me in the photo! He kinda rocks my world if y’all haven’t noticed. Quite the catch he is <3
P.S. I wish you could be in my kitchen right now. My mom is going to town trying to open her wedding gown box for me to try on. Ha! I really should make a video and put it on Youtube. I’d get a million hits over night for sure!
this woman to my right has no clue how much I love her. The things she does (especially her secret blog posts) really show me how perfect she is. Aside from all that she does, I love her. I love her because God made her for me. I love her regardless. I love her ‘til the end.
so the love that I had pre-engagement was truly beyond anything I’ve felt. but now that we’ve been engaged (and only for 20 days!!!) the emotional connection I’ve experienced is far beyond that I could have ever imagined. And it is only going to grow. What God has planned for us excites me and I cannot wait to experience it with her. My woman. Kristina Lynn.

<3
i love this man.
ok…Kevin, when you see this don’t hurt me. (jk everyone…he’s never hurt me! he wouldn’t hurt a fly as they say)
I know I’m supposed to wait on you to create new blog posts, but I couldn’t wait. I’m super pumped! Today, my mom’s flying in from Greenville, SC to go dress shopping with me for the remainder of the week!
I feel like it was just yesterday..well..maybe two weeks ago…when I was playing Barbies and dress up in wedding dresses. I would always be 17 years old and married with children. Don’t ask why. That was just the way I always invisioned my future life.
BUT, to wrap up my childhood memories, I just wanted to say that I can’t believe I’m actually engaged and going to try on real wedding dresses. I can’t wait to be wearing my dress, walking down the aisle, and spending the rest of my life with my amazing fiance, Kevin Williams. In just 192 days.
Kristina: mmmmmmm I. Love. Food.
Kevin: T-T-T-T-T-Tasty-Tasty!!
We get to eat ALL the food we want. All of it. And you get to come too!!
Kristina: Except the sad part is we probably won’t get to eat very much of the stuff…!
Kevin: But they can!!! But save some for us!
Kristina: Who loves Sushi?! Kel loves sushi!!!
Kevin: Is it true????
Kristina: mmmmmhmmmmm. I do I do I do-oooooo!! Just practicing!!!
Today we booked our venue and caterer. My parents are frickin’ awesome and are runnin’ around everywhere!
Kevin: Thanks mom and dad!!! Just practicing… =)
But for reals. Mr and Mrs Fulton are the bomb dot com for doing all they have done.
Kristina: And this past weekend… we may have chosen our cake!!! Or at least we ate a lot of cake in a 2 hour time frame…
Kevin: uhhhh (stomach ache)
Kristina: And I don’t want to eat another piece of cake until my wedding day!
Kevin: I can’t say the same… but you got it! more for me!
Kristina: Yep.
Kevin: Plus I need to gain weight anyway!
Kristina: Yeah you do. You skinny-mini!
K+K: But until next time… we love you!!!

Our future family!!! YES!
K+K: And to Susan and David Gibson…
Thanks for such an amazing wedding and for the love that you two share!! Congratulations!!!
Kevin: We’ve figured out a color scheme!!! (kind of). Now, to work out all the kinks.
Kristina: Stick a feather in my hat and call me yankee doodle dandy. That’s all the hints you’re getting for the scheme. Help much?
Kevin: OH MY GOD WHAT IS IT?!
Kristina: I don’t know what to say. You know you can’t keep secrets, so if I tell you, you’ll shout it out to everyone
Kevin: Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaase!?!
Kristina: One day. When you put on your tie in 7 months, you’ll find out :) just kidding.
But it’s really pretty!
Kevin: I believe you.
Not to go off on a tangent or anything, but… we’ve also chosen our Wedding Partay!!!
Kristina: It’s pretty exciting!! Stuff is finally coming together. It helps that the parents are doing all the hard work with venues and catering :) thanks mom and dad!
Kevin: Why yes, thank you!!! Okay okay… until next time.
K+K = We <3 You.

Kristina: BTW this is kevin’s excited face. Aren’t I lucky to be able to marry him!?!
We’re getting MARRIED!!!!
Kevin: I’m the luckiest man alive!!! She said yes!!!! SHE SAID YES!!!! Now my fiance (haha!) is right beside me and we’re planning this whole shindig for a very special date…
January 28th, 2012.
Be there.
Kristina: He says he’s the luckiest, but everyone can clearly see from the video that I won that gamble fair and square with a rock, paper, scissors victory!
To reiterate what Kevin said…be there on January 28th. Attire: dancing pants or no admittance.
Kevin: Did I mention she said yes?
Kristina: and did you know I get to marry this cute guy sitting beside me?
K+K: And for the location…. (drumroll please!)
GVEGAS - “Bring yo cash moneys!” (For those of you who are not well versed with the hippest of slang - GVegas = Greenville, SC)
Kevin: Right now we’re both praying for a strong marriage that gives glory to God. And the number one thing I’m praying about is that I love Kristina Lynn Fulton just as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25-27) and gave himself up for her. Along with that prayer comes the prayer of commitment. Commitment is KEY in our coming together as ONE! (Did I mention how excited I am that I’m getting to marry this woman!?) We’re going to be one! Yessssssssss!
That’s right. Commitment in all facets of our relationship. From communication to love to forgiveness. With commitment, love never fails.
Kristina: I love him.
K+K: We we we so excited!
